Het is vooral een (koude) tocht over het meer in een slee achter een sneeuwscooter gevolgd door een tussenstop in een tipi tent met vuur waarop worstje/soep/brood worden klaargemaakt en waar je de gelegenheid krijgt 2 rendieren te voeren. Daarna nog paar minuten terug met de slee naar de auto die ons terugbracht naar de beginlocatie waar we onze dikke geleende pakken konden inleveren en daarna teruggebracht werden naar ons hotel. Als totaalpakket niet slecht als aanbod, maar in de praktijk zonder noorderlicht heeft het weinig om het lijf.”

“We felt that the overall experience was excellent and the Ice Hotel and snow sauna were very unique experiences. However, we were asked to be at the meeting point 1/2 hour prior to the start of the experience. That seemed somewhat excessive, but we were willing to do that to prevent any unnecessary delays. But when the bus transporting us came 15 to 20 minutes late, it meant that we had to stand out in the cold for approximately 45 minutes for absolutely no reason whatsoever. If you are going to demand punctuality from your guests, you should make sure that the transportation is punctual as well.Read more”

“What a fantastic experience! My guide, Ruslan, was on time picking me up at my hotel and got me to the location safely, with good conversation along the way. Dinner was delicious and the ambiance was incredible. After dinner, Ruslan took me out on the frozen lake with snowmobiles. So much fun! He also helped make it more memorable by taking pictures for me. As a solo traveler, I would highly recommend this experience. I did not feel lonely or bored. I had my self as company and I also had Ruslan. Easily one of the best experiences during my stay in Lapland.”
