“Great wilderness hike with beautiful photo opportunities. Our guide Oscar was very friendly and patient with requests. The walk has a few steep spots with rope railings to help and as other reviews point out the last 30 minutes is a bit more uphill. We are somewhat fit and found it manageable- most of the group didn’t seemed too challenged. If you like walks outside and seeing Finland’s forest and nature scenery this is a great day out.”

We were lucky to have the most amazing weather that day: clear skies and sunshine, which made the experience even more special. “One of the best tours on our Lapland trip. We are so glad we went with this instead of some huge company. It was just me and my boyfriend and Aleksei told us, he is just starting his own venture as a tour guide and you could really feel how passionate he is. Since we started a bit earlier than most groups, we had the trail to ourselves. The hike itself is easy to do and leads through beautiful nature. A highlight was the campfire on the way back with Finnish sausages and marshmallows. We even learned how to start a campfire ourselves with just a knife. The drone shots…”

The hike to the falls was easy, but the hike up the waterfall was very difficult- not for the faint of heart, but doable. Ice climbing was very fun to try! The hike out of the canyon was grueling, but the stop at the fire and meal were perfect! The extra gear kept us happy too!”
