He was kind and funny, and really did his best to connect with each guest. His knowledge of the flora, fauna, history, and legends of the area was the best of any nature tour guide we have encountered. His campfire building and cooking skills could have been their own tour—wonderful Finnish food, including ones from his own home town(s). He even played music around the campfire on really special instruments. Fantastic day—highly recommend!”

The buffet meal was average with general choices and wasn’t worth the cost, but it’s nice our guide David reserved us a table so we didn’t have to wait (it got very crowded at 1230h). “I cannot get enough of the Lappish winter wonderland!! The scenery is spectacular, I loved riding the snowmobile in the forest and on the lake. In spite of the fact that I did not catch any fish, I loved every second of the tour. Alexie and Anu are amazing guides, and the also cooked us a delicious reindeer soup and warm bread. This excursion is worth every cent!! Also, many thanks to Anu for having me as a passenger on her snowmobile. I told her I did not want to drive the snowmobile, and she was most gracious to take me on as a passenger!”
