“We absolutely loved it all. Visiting at the begging of April was a little risk as many activity providers are closing or limiting tours, but this was a great find for our family. Review of Rovaniemi’s small-group reindeer farm tour with a photographer, including sleigh ride, photos, farm visit, price, and practical tips.
“This was great!!There isnt a lot of time with reindeer but we got more than most tours. We got to watch them 15 mins wild while they give a talk, then go a short reindeer ride (minutes), then a 30 mins inside talk then most people got to pet 2 reindeer for a few mins.We got to move around extra while waiting for the ride (there were other groups there)& got posed photos on the frozen ice.It was so so cold watching so the wild reindeer was long enough & a longer ride would have been cold(it was -35!)but I could see people being disappointed that it was short. After everyone left…”
Feed reindeer, enjoy a short sleigh ride, and hear Lapland stories near Rovaniemi. A warm family outing with useful price caveats.
Review of Levi’s 3-hour reindeer and husky safari, with sled rides, Sámi culture, animal encounters, practical tips, and value advice.
“We loved it! Guides were all very friendly, informative and fun! We learned a lot about Finland and enjoyed every second with the animals! There unfortunately wasn’t enough snow yet for the sled right which is quite a usual for that time of year. However the guides did their best to still provide great activities with wheel rides instead of sleigh rides etc.”
